Jay Jasper is a married father of two boys and is very involved in his community and his church. He has coached Youth baseball and flag football for the Consumnes CSD Parks and Recreation. Jasper is currently a Board Member with the Elk Grove Youth Baseball league.
In his professional career, Jasper has been a Transition Specialist and School
Counselor in several school districts. He successfully implemented Peer Mediation programs where he trained students to facilitate conflict resolution amongst their peers. The led to a decrease in school bullying and violence. Jasper has also identified and informed district personnel about bullying that occurs between coworkers as well as between administrators and certificated staff.
Jasper is currently a Senior Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for the State of California. Jasper helps youth and adults with disabilities find meaningful employment that is aligned with their unique strengths, limitations, resources, interests and values using the process of informed choice.
