Jay L. Bernstein is a partner in the Capital Markets Group at Clifford Chance and was Chairman of this Group from 2002 through 2014. He also leads our Specialty Finance and REIT practices and represents, in both domestic and international markets, sponsors, investors, investment banks, specialty finance companies, REITs and other real estate,
finance and hotel companies in their capital raising and merger and acquisition activities. Jay has been at the forefront of developing innovative solutions for the specialty finance industry, including leading many of the development efforts around Marketplace Public Partnerships (more commonly known as MAPPs).
