Javier Ramirez is a software engineer with a large experience in cloud, big data, machine learning, and web applications development. He worked as a programmer, post-sales, engineer, software architect and project manager for banks, telcos, pharmaceutical companies, government agencies, and publishing houses before deciding to start his own
business.
He is a Senior Developer Advocate at AWS. He was a co-founder in teowaki.com, aprendoaprogramar.com, and utende.com, a CTO/Partner in ASPgems.com, and head of engineering at Datatonic. He was a Google Developer Expert on the Google Cloud Platform for several years (he retired from the program when joining AWS). He has lectured at several Spanish Universities.
He was a lecturer at three different Universities on the topics of Software Engineering, JAVA and Web Development.
He is the author of the book "Aptana RadRails: An IDE for Rails Development"
