Jason Lambert is Executive Director of Content Licensing and Metadata Services at Sony Pictures Entertainment. In his role, he is responsible for business development, content acquisition, and operations for the studio’s film clip, still image, and stock footage licensing business. In addition, he leads the in-house metadata services team charged
with creating Sony Pictures’ time-based metadata repository. This repository of metadata and digital assets is utilized by stakeholders throughout the studio to identify licensable, memorable, and/or marketable moments from within SPE’s full length feature catalog. The repository also supports compliance activities related to film clip use and helps power enhanced consumer experiences for SPE’s home entertainment and digital streaming services.
