Jared Kehe is a passionate and innovative biotechnologist and project leader with expertise in microbial ecology, microbiome science, and microfluidics. With the support of an Activate Fellowship, Jared co-founded Concerto Biosciences and successfully built Concerto’s discovery platform, kChip, to its current industrial scale. Jared’s meticulous
and rigorous work ethic is evident in all of Concerto’s scientific pursuits, particularly the systematic methodology by which it discovers its therapeutics and products. Jared holds a PhD in Biological Engineering from MIT (NSF Fellow, Presidential Fellow), where he worked with Prof. Paul Blainey and Dr. Anthony Kulesa to invent the predecessor to kChip. Jared formerly applied the kChip to the discovery of microbial ecology’s governing principles.
