Jared Kamrass, a native of Cincinnati, is a prominent Democratic political strategist with expertise in the Midwest and Upper South regions. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Strategic Communication (with honors) from The Ohio State University and his Master of Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati’s
Lindner College of Business.
Kamrass established Rivertown Strategies in 2013 and served as its Principal and Chief Strategist, advising clients on communication and messaging strategies, crafting campaign plans, and overseeing staff and consultants. He also conducted extensive fundraising operations for federal, state, and local campaigns. Kamrass's client list includes the DCCC, NRDC Action Fund, U.S. Senator Sherrod Brown, Mayor John Cranley of Cincinnati, Mayor Nan Whaley of Dayton, Senate Minority Leader Jeff Yarbro of Tennessee, State Rep. Brigid Kelly of Ohio HD-31, and the University of Cincinnati.
Kamrass has been involved in various capacities with a range of candidates and elected officials, including serving as the chief strategist and admaker for candidates for Congress, Governor, Mayor, State Legislature, and County Executive in 18 states across the country. He also served as a Senior Advisor to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, FC Cincinnati, and the University of Cincinnati Department of Athletics.
Kamrass is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Cincinnati, where he develops course material for undergraduate students and invites local elected officials and candidates from both parties to engage with students. He currently resides in Cincinnati with his wife Emma and their dog, Archie. Recently, he joined Technicolor Political as a Principal.
