Janet Perna has over 30 years of experience in the software industry. As the General Manager of Information Management within IBM’s Software Group, she was responsible for a multi-billion-dollar business focused on delivering and servicing products to help businesses worldwide manage their information assets including database management, content
and records management, information integration, and business intelligence software.
Since retiring from IBM, Janet has held board positions at a number of software companies in the US and Canada. She is currently a member of the Board of Directors for JDA and Cloudmark, and is a member of the Foundation Board of Directors at the State University of New York at Oneonta.
Janet is an active volunteer with the Connecticut Chapter of the American Red Cross and is the founder of the Perna-Rose Foundation for HOPE. She holds a BS degree in mathematics and was awarded an Honorary Doctorate degree from the State University of New York at Oneonta.
