Jane was a part of the original Stanford class in which Embrace was founded, where she was doing her MBA. Chen, a Ted Senior and Echoing Green fellow, was the recipient of the Economist Social Innovation Award in 2013 (along with the other Embrace founders), Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum 2012 and a Schwab Social Entrepreneur in
2013. In addition to her MBA, she holds a Masters in Public Administration from Harvard University.
