Dr. Jan Schaefer is a medical doctor trained in orthopedic surgery with clinical and research experience in Germany, the UK, and the USA. He spent more than 10 years as a healthcare consultant with Roland Berger Strategy Consultants and as a hospital executive at the Charité University Hospital. Additionally, he co-founded a medical travel
facilitator company that assisted Chinese patients traveling to Germany. At MEDIGO, Dr. Jan oversees the medical provider network, the MEDIGO quality program, and shapes the MEDIGO strategy from a medical point of view.
