Jan-Philipp is Founder and CEO of JPM Silicon, a high-tech startup providing equipment and services to the global silicon and solar silicon industry. With its cost breaking process for producing solar silicon, JPM Silicon promotes the expansion of solar energy around the globe.
Jan-Philipp stared working in the field of silicon production back
in 2001. He founded JPM Silicon in 2011 during his studies at the University of Braunschweig. He gained his diploma with honors in mechanical engineering in 2011. Currently he is a doctoral candidate as well with a focus on thermodynamics in silicon production.
To his engineering skills he added multiple courses in economics and is going to receive his MBA in Entrepreneurship & Innovation Management from the Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences this year. He is also Founder and CEO of the JPM Investment Group with a focus on high-tech startups and technologies in the metals and mining sector.
