Jan Helen, an investment banker headquartered in Denver, Colorado, has worked in the financial industry for almost three decades. Jan was born and reared in Norway, where he studied philosophy at Bergen University before electing to study the hotel sector. Jan attended the École hôtelière de Lausanne, a prestigious institution that is frequently
ranked as the best in the world. Jan Helen resumed his education in hotel management at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, for the next chapter of his life.
Jan Helen has dominated the investment world for years. Interestingly, he received a multifaceted education, beginning in Norway, where he studied Philosophy at the public research school, Bergen University. Several years later, Jan Helen enrolled at the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne, a hospitality management school in Switzerland routinely ranked as the world’s most superior hospitality school. After moving to the United States, Jan chose to study Hotel Management at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.
In addition to all of his professional success, Jan Helen has been a part of generous endeavors to aid individuals in need via memberships in numerous philanthropic organizations. Jan served on the board of Operation Walk Denver, a non-profit organization that assists individuals in regaining their ability to walk. Since its beginning in 2003, the group has been able to assist many persons suffering from bone and joint diseases.
An avid skier, Jan has happily spent most of his adult life in Denver, Colorado. Skiing has been a part of Jan’s life from an early age. When he was a teen, Jan Helen worked as a ski instructor, and he brought the same seriousness and compassion to those students as he did later as an adult while mentoring in the corporate world. With skiing, he would make sure that students were prepared before ever stepping foot onto a mountain, checking details such as proper attire and cautioning them on the right skis for each type of skiing.
