Jamie Broadbent is an executive banking leader with more than 15 years of experience across digital strategy, product, innovation, transformation and commercial financial services.
Most recently, he served as Vice President, Digital – Commercial Banking at National Bank of Canada, following its acquisition of Canadian Western Bank in 2025. In this
role, Jamie has held executive responsibility for commercial banking digital strategy, client experience, business integration, and the modernization of digital service delivery for commercial clients.
Prior to National Bank, Jamie held executive leadership roles at Canadian Western Bank, RBS International, and NatWest Group, spanning digital banking, product strategy, client experience, innovation, open banking, payments, fintech partnerships, and large-scale technology modernization.
Earlier in his career, Jamie was named UK Young Banker of the Year by The Chartered Banker Institute for innovation in SME finance. He has also contributed to banking industry forums, regulatory consultations, advisory boards, and leading international conference programs focused on financial services innovation and the future of banking.
Outside of executive banking roles, Jamie has experience as a non-executive director in the not-for-profit sector, including previously serving as Chairman of Jersey Women’s Refuge. He has also been involved as a mentor, advisor, and early-stage investor to technology-related businesses.
