As one of company founders and seasoned industry veteran, James leads the Common Engineering group that is responsible for software, electrical, and platform portion of AMEC products development and support.
Prior to joining AMEC in 2004, James was a software engineering director at Applied Material. Since joining Applied in 1995, James held
various engineering management positions and was responsible for the software development and support of the most successful PVD products.
James Yang received both MSCS and BSEE degrees from Xi’an Jiaotong University. He was teaching and researching in the Artificial Intelligence and Robots Institute of Xi’an Jiaotong University for seven years before working in US.
James holds one U.S. patent.
