James Stegall is recently retired from over 40 years in directing choirs. His vast career has presented him with countless opportunities to train professional artists and share his knowledge at many conferences. He has gone alongside his choral groups as they have performed at festivals and conferences around the United States. James made sure to
provide his students with professional opportunities that would benefit them in reaching their career goals.
James has been recognized with a large number of awards recognizing his excellence in his profession. His most recent recognition him to be The Western Illinois University Distinguished Faculty Lecturer of 2013.
