Mr. Stitcher founded his initial practice in 1972 as a sole practitioner and subsequently developed into a multi-partner firm with over 500 clients in several Mid-Atlantic States and the District of Columbia.
Prior to founding his initial practice, Mr. Stitcher spent several years serving as an Assistant Treasurer with the National Association of
Securities Dealers, Inc. and prior to that spent several years as a staff accountant with a large local CPA firm. He is a former Adjunct Lecturer in Accounting at the University of Maryland, University College.
Mr. Stitcher was a Certified Public Accountant. He held an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration from Benjamin Franklin University, a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Southeastern University and a Master of Science degree in Taxation from Southeastern University. He was a registered representative with the brokerage firm of H.D. Vest Financial Services.
Mr. Stitcher was a member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants and served on the Management of an Accounting Practice Committee. He was also a member of the Maryland Society of Accountants. He was the past treasurer of several political organizations and was on the Board of Directors of several corporate clients.
Mr. Stitcher functioned as an office and director of the firm. His activities were focused in the areas of taxation, financial planning, establishment of retirement plans and related services.
