As a CPA for over 20 years, Jim has helped manage the finances of hundreds of families and companies in the Baltimore area; he decided to help launch ICmed after being inspired by the power of the technology to create a new way of encouraging healthier living. For about the last decade, Jim has been a financial controller for a national real estate
investment services company that funds affordable housing and community development. He served as CFO of the firm’s multifamily housing development subsidiary and is currently the director of new business accounting.
While not working, Jim enjoys traveling and being with his family and his many friends. One of Jim’s favorite role models, in business, is James Rouse, the Maryland businessman and philanthropist who used business acumen to pioneer a sustainable model for the development of affordable housing and thriving communities throughout the United States.
