James E. Minarik has served as our Chief Executive Officer of DEI Holdings since January 2001. From 1992 to December 2000, Mr. Minarik was employed by business units of the publicly traded and Japan-based Clarion Company Limited, a supplier of audio equipment to global car manufacturers and retailers, including as the Chief Executive Officer of
Clarion Corporation of America from 1997 to December 2000. Mr. Minarik serves on the board of directors of Escort Inc., a privately held radar detector company and Twin Star, a privately held manufacturer of electric fireplaces. Mr. Minarik received both a Bachelors Degree and a Masters of Business Administration from the Pennsylvania State University.
