James Brown is responsible for Equiniti’s corporate development, commercial and legal functions, reporting to the CEO. This includes the design and implementation of acquisitions, disposals, JVs and new commercial relationships.
James began his career with Arthur Andersen, working in business assurance and turnaround consulting, before moving
into corporate finance. He then advised on M&A transactions for almost ten years whilst with Arthur Anderson/Deloitte, Altium and Hawkpoint, with a focus on business services, technology and financial services. James has completed more than 50 M&A transactions as principal or adviser. James has a BCom (Hons) in Business & Accountancy from the University of Edinburgh and is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAS).
