Dr. Baker began his practice as an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 1979.
He completed dental school at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas in 1974. This was followed by a residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center from 1975-1979.
He has maintained a
private practice in Oklahoma City since the completion of his residency and achieved certification by the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons in 1981.
Dr. Baker served at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center as Chairman of the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and as Residency Director in 1991-1992, and remains an associate clinical professor.
Dr. Baker previously served as Chairman of the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery department of Saint Anthony’s Hospital and Baptist Medical Center.12
