Jim Aston is Chief Financial Officer and an Executive Managing Director of C-III Capital Partners. He also fulfills these roles and is a principal of Island Capital Group. Jim Aston previously served as the Chief Financial Officer of Insignia Financial Group. During his time at Insignia, Aston presided over more than $7 billion of financings and he
brings more than 20 years of experience in real estate, accounting and finance to C-III Capital Partners. Mr. Aston also serves as the Treasurer of Anubis Advisors, which provides strategic planning, executive management, restructuring, M&A and other financial services to Island Capital Group’s portfolio companies, including C-III Capital Partners.
Mr. Aston received a Bachelor of Science degree with highest honors from Clemson University, where he majored in Accounting.
