Jake Mello is a professional mitigation, construction and reconstruction consultant. He has been employed by J.S. Held for 10 years and is currently a Vice President, in the Philadelphia office. He is responsible for consulting on large complex losses throughout the United States including universities, casinos, hospitals, malls, and high-rise
residential and professional office buildings.
Jake has a diverse background in construction and building. Prior to joining J.S. Held, he was employed by an excavation/site development contractor. Jake was responsible for developing bid proposals and overseeing and participating in the completion of each project. Jake’s ability to work with others in synthesizing complex reconstruction issues and making cost effective decisions has facilitated the timely completion of major projects and resolution of large, complex insurance claims.
Jake holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Savannah College of Art and Design.
