Jake Firman leads the Education Technology team at DSST Public Schools, a network of high performing charter schools in Denver serving over 5,000 students in the 17-18 school year. DSST operates the highest performing and highest growth secondary schools in Denver Public Schools, and to date, 100% of DSST graduates have earned acceptance into
four-year colleges and universities. Jake has led the building of DSST’s education technology strategy and team over the past 5 years, including the selection and implementation of 3rd party platforms, as well as the creation of in-house software applications to meet unique organizational needs, including an in-house data warehousing solution built on the Ed-Fi platform. Jake is a former 8th grade math teacher, and Teach for America alum.
