Jacques is a physician (MD) with broad national and international experience, in small (private) Pharma companies as well as (public) large Pharma companies (EU, US, JPN), in (public US) CRO and in Biotech (NL). He gained his thorough Clinical Development experience in various positions e.g. clinical trial physician in a University Hospital, local
(senior) CRA, International Coordinator Clinical Research and corporate VP clinical development and Chief Medical Officer. He obtained broader Management and commercial skills in several local Medical Director positions as well as in international Medical Director positions at Corporate level. Jacques is an excellent natural networker, customer focused and goal oriented team builder, valuing people’s strengths and addressing weaknesses with a high level of integrity. He has good cultural sensitivity as demonstrated in several succesful internationally based expat positions covering areas as Western Europe, Latin America, Middle East, Far East, Russia, Africa, Eastern Europe, India and China. He is able to combine both clinical development and commercial interests, and can act as a generalist as well as a specialist. He is eager to continuously improve professionally, e.g. he completed the European Pharmaceutical Medicine post graduate Course Degree from Basel University in 2005 (ECPM). From 2008 he is was trained (part-time) as clinical pharmacologist at Utrecht University Medical Centre. He successfully prolonged his registration in the National Dutch Registry of Physicians (BIG) until November 2022.
