Jacob Wolf is the Chief Reporter & Investigative Lead at Dot Esports and the Founder & Executive Producer of Overcome.
Wolf's work at Dot Esports includes leading its news and investigations team, which dives deep into some of the most important stories in the gaming and esports industries. In September, Wolf announced Overcome, a
full-service audio and production studio he founded that is co-producing a serialized investigative podcast covering one big scandal in gaming. That podcast is set to release in 2022.
This year, Wolf’s work at Dot has covered a number of investigations, including one centered around Joshua Mullins, a now-convicted con artist who, as a teenager, attempted to steal millions from some of the biggest esports organizations in the world.
Previously, Wolf was the lead reporter covering esports at ESPN, where he worked for four and a half years. Wolf was ESPN's youngest talent hire ever, accepting the job prior to his 19th birthday. Wolf is a one-time winner of the Esports Awards Journalist of the Year award and a five-time nominee. In 2021, Forbes included Wolf in its 30 under 30 2022 Class for gaming.
