chairman of Publicis Groupe Media, Jack has been a key architect of digital development and transformation for the world’s third largest communications company.
In addition to his duties as VivaKi chairman, Jack serves as a part of Publicis Groupe Directorie, the company’s elite governing body, and as part of its P12 executive committee,
Following the basic tenet that smart media buying should be based on smart strategy (which served as the founding principle for Starcom Worldwide’s launch in 1998), Jack has earned numerous industry honors, including Media Person of the Year from the Festival of Media, Mediaweek’s Media Director of the Year and an Advertising Age Media Maven. Under his guidance, Publicis Groupe Media was named Most Creative Global Media Agency by the Gunn Report in its first year of existence.
In late 2012, Jack announced his retirement plans, capping a 35-year-career in marketing. He will continue to serve as VivaKi’s chairman until mid-2013.
