In his current role at Philips, Ivars and his team are responsible for developing comprehensive solutions (including software, analytics and professional services) for the healthcare imaging space.
Prior to it, he has led a service marketing group responsible for a suite of services, from maintenance contracts to asset management, to analytics, to
education, for Olympus Americas. Ivars also has held marketing leadership roles with other healthcare industry leaders, such as Teleflex and Bayer, as well as a small entrepreneurial company specializing in minimally-invasive surgical instrumentation.
He received his undergraduate degree in International Business from Riga Technical University (Riga, Latvia) and an MBA from NIU (DeKalb, IL, USA).
