Dr. Angel is an accomplished executive in the Israeli pharmaceutical industry, with over 30 years of experience in guiding strategic drug and business development in both large and emerging companies. Dr. Angel has effectively established discovery, research and development teams and projects, and brought several drugs to the market.
Dr. Angel was
formerly Vice President of Research and Development at Proteologics Ltd. and at D-Pharm Biopharmaceuticals. Prior to that he was the head of Pharmacology in Synthelabo (now Sanofi) where he brought drugs such as Xatral, Ambien and Mizollen to the market.
Dr. Angel received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from Tel-Aviv University and Ph.D. from Hamburg University in Germany. Dr. Angel is the author of more than 100 book chapters, papers, abstracts and patents.
