Iris Chan is the Founder & CEO of Ameriway Inc. a company that she founded in 1989 focused in early stage investments and cross-border trade between United States and Asia.
She is a former Executive Vice President and the Group Head of Wells Fargo's National Commercial Banking Group that serves middle market businesses across the
United States with annual sales from $10 to $500+ million. As the Group Head, Iris oversaw more than 90 commercial banking and loan production offices throughout United States. In addition, she was responsible for industry specialty groups including Government, Education, Non-Profit and Healthcare Group, Technology Industry Group and Waste and Environmental Management Industry Group. She was a member of the Management Committee. She joined Wells Fargo in 1987. Throughout her career, Iris has received various awards and recognition for her work. In 2007 and 2008, she was named one of the "25 Most Powerful Women in Banking" by U.S. Banker magazine.
Having been an entrepreneur and a banker all her career, she understands the importance of capital raise to help entrepreneur meeting funding requirement in the early stage while keeping business disciplines in converting innovative ideas into a viable business.
