Raj has expertise in Product Management, Product Marketing and Computer Systems Engineering. He has been through finding product market fit and scaling companies in big data space. His engineering expertise spans most of the software stack with depth in distributed systems, high performance computing, compiler optimizations and computer language
design. He holds a patent for designing a language for insurance contracts, and has designed novel compiler optimization algorithms for CUDA on GPUs while at NVIDIA - the underlying stack for deep learning. He has worked most recently at Hortonworks managing Apache Hive. Raj goes back and forth between leading product and engineering and is equally comfortable in both roles. He actively architects his software systems and recently has been programming with Scala, Kubernetes, Spark and many other technologies.
