Ina Budde, MA Sustainability in Fashion, is a future-thinking designer, lecturer and entrepreneur in the world of sustainable fashion. 2015 she founded ‚Design for Circularity’ – a sustainable design lab to realize circular design and system innovations for fashion labels with the aim to close the loop for textiles. Together with her team she is
currently realizing the EXTENDED CLOSED LOOP Platform – a digital solution for a interconnected circular industry structure that has been selected as one of the innovations of LAUNCH Nordic 2014 and received the NEXT ECONOMY AWARD 2015. Besides implementing the EXTENDED CLOSED LOOP platform she gives industry workshops and teaches ‚sustainable design strategies in fashion’ at international universities in Hamburg, Berlin, Copenhagen and London. Currently she works in the MA Programm ESMOD Berlin. Ina Budde is founding member of the global Open Source Circular Economy association and co-initiated in this frame the first CircularTextileChallenge Berlin.
