Ignacio Alvarez Lopez is responsible for managing the investment process from screening and sourcing to analyzing and negotiating investment opportunities. Additionally, he works closely with portfolio companies supporting entrepreneurs in drafting and implementing financial, operational and strategic projects.

Lopez was M&A and Finance Intelligence Senior Manager at The Coca-Cola Company based in Mexico City where he led due diligence processes adding up to US$160 MM that yielded the acquisition of a PET recycling plant. Prior to Coca-Cola he held positions at two different Private Equity firms in Mexico and NY where he sourced, analyzed and negotiated deals adding up to US$1,500 MM. He also has experience designing and implementing several commercial strategy projects for Mexican multinational companies with Auric Consulting, a boutique management and strategy consulting firm based in Monterrey, Mexico.
Alvarez Lopez holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey and an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business with concentrations in Finance and Strategy.
