Howard Mirowitz is a member of the Investment Committee of OC Cove Fund I, LLC, the Selection Committee of EvoNexus, and Tech Coast Angels. In his consulting practice, he advises private equity firms investing in high-tech businesses. He sits on the Boards or Advisory Boards of several startups and on the Advisory Board of the University of
California, Irvine’s Beall Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, where he also has taught courses in Entrepreneurship and New Product Development. Previously, he co-managed Mitsubishi Electric’s U.S. high-tech incubator, which developed the technology for the first smart phones, returning over $150M on under $10M of investment, and led Mitsubishi’s North American product planning and product management function. He also worked at Western Digital, Microdata Corporation and Touche Ross, a predecessor of Deloitte & Touche. Mr. Mirowitz received a BA (cum laude) from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
