Hope is a 21-year education veteran who was a former special education teacher and RTI Coordinator. She is now an Instructional Technology Coach for Lowndes County School District in Columbus, MS. Hope has a passion for educational technology and its integral part of education. Hope is a Schoology Ambassador, Nearpod PioNear, Apple Teacher,
Certified Nearpod Educator, Sophia Certified Flipped Classroom Instructor, and was Teacher of the Year for North Jefferson Middle School in Birmingham, AL. As a Instructional Technology Coach, she has played an integral part in the 1:1 initiative. She has helped create, presented on and leads the majority of the professional development for the LCSD. Hope has presented at FETC, MECA, AETC and Tech, Teach, Learn Conferences and at the Mississippi Association of School Superintendents’ Conference. Hope holds a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, a Master’s degree in both Instructional Leadership, and Special Education.
