Hongyu Ran is the founder of Beiang Technology, a Chinese high-tech enterprise.
From February 2006 to October 2009, Ran served as the engineer in charge of the research and development department of U.S. Tessera. From June 2004 to February 2006, he worked as a research scientist at the California Institute of Technology.
Ran obtained a
bachelor’s degree from the China University of Technology and received a full scholarship with honors from the world famous California Institute of Technology after graduation. He obtained a master’s degree and doctorate degree in mechanical engineering aerodynamics from the California Institute of Technology.
