Holger Roth is an assistant professor at Mori Laboratory, Nagoya University in Japan. Previously, Holger was a postdoctoral fellow, working at the Imaging Biomarkers and CAD Lab at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center. Since then, his research efforts have focused on the application of deep learning methodologies for medical image
analysis, multi-scale computational anatomy, and computer-aided detection and diagnosis. He was also a Ph.D. student at the Centre for Medical Image Computing at University College London, where he specialized in the registration of highly deformable organs such as the colon and its imaging, using CT and colonoscopy. Holger has published over 38 peer-reviewed papers at conferences and journals.
