Hilde Windels, Lic., joined Biocartis in July 2011 as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). She has over 20 years experience in corporate finance, capital markets and strategic initiatives, and was involved in several mergers and acquisitions.
From early 2009-mid-2011, Hilde worked as independent CFO for a few private biotech companies, and sat on the
board of MDx Health from June 2010-August 2011. She was also a member of the Board of FlandersBio, the umbrella organization for the life sciences and biotech industry in Flanders, from May 2010-August 2011.
Hilde was Devgen’s CFO from 1999-2008. She was part of the management team that raised EUR 30 million in venture capital money and took the company public on the Brussels Euronext stock market in 2005. She was a member of Devgen’s Board from 2001-2008. Earlier in her career, she was responsible at ING for commercial banking in one of the Belgian areas.
Hilde holds a Licentiate/Master’s in Economics from the University of Leuven (Belgium).
