Herschell Taghap loves food, technology and the intersection of the two. He's currently is the social media manager for the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, but during his personal time, he still moonlights as a chef instructor for Hot Stove Society, Tom Douglas' cooking school. As the former digital manager for Tom Douglas Restaurants, he
managed the entire company's social media, website and online photography. At Hot Stove Society, he teaches classes based on his unique perspective on food: Filipino classes titled "Thrilla in Manila," a breakfast series titled "Date Night: The Morning After" and broad topics like handmade pasta, Dungeness crab and the art of cooking a steak. He's also runs his mobile DJ service, White Label Seattle and is an avid Star Trek nerd. At home, he loves to make dinner for his wife Liana and his new son.
