Dr Henry Danahay gained a BPharm and PhD from the Welsh School of Pharmacy before joining the Novartis Respiratory Diseases Group. Whilst with Novartis, he worked as an in vitro/in vivo pharmacologist with a specialisation in airway epithelial cell based drug targets. During this time he played a central role in establishing the CF discovery
portfolio and was most recently Director and Head of the Lung Repair & Regeneration Group in the Respiratory Disease Area. He has lead a number of drug discovery programs from target identification through to early clinical studies as well as authoring >40 peer reviewed papers and patents. As a co-founder of Enterprise Therapeutics, Dr Danahay is Head of Biology and is an honorary Senior Research Fellow at the University of Sussex.
