Joined the Bank in September 2011 as Executive General Manager, Personal & Business Banking Group. Appointed an Executive Director of the Bank in March 2013, Mrs. Kan is also Alternate Chief Executive Officer and Group Head of Personal & Business Banking of the Bank.
Mrs. Kan has 26 years of experience in the banking and finance
industry. Over the years, she had held various senior positions across a broad spectrum of banking and finance exposures in Hong Kong, Mainland China and other global markets. These have included the personal and consumer banking sectors. Prior to joining the Bank, she was Standard Chartered Bank's Global Head of Distribution in charge of the strategic development and performance of distribution channels across 33 geographic locations covering a global customer population in excess of 14 million.
Mrs. Kan holds an Honours Degree in Management and Economics, and a Master's Degree in Law from The University of Hong Kong.
