Harmony Vallejo is president and CEO of Universal Events Inc. The company provides communications and branding support to nonprofits. For as long as Harmony Vallejo can remember, she’s wanted to make the world a better place. Today, it’s her mission to help nonprofits and ethical businesses by providing back-end administrative and branding support.
Harmony Vallejo made the decision to challenge herself to see if she could use her experience in media to create a company that could provide something nonprofits desperately needed. This challenge led to the inception of her own company and team of professionals who could support nonprofits: Universal Events Inc. Her company focuses on the straightforward mission of strengthening the bond between nonprofits and ethical organizations and their communities.
Harmony leads an exceptional team of social media, communications, copywriting, accounting, and administrative experts in a collaborative environment. When she isn’t working to directly impact local and international nonprofits for the better, she’s writing articles and guides to teach nonprofits practical, step-by-step methods to harness social media, manage compliance paperwork, and succeed in their missions.
Harmony gained most of her experience in communications and marketing two decades ago at WYTV, a Western Youngstown television station. Later, she spent time as a marketing representative for Winners Advertising, improving brand awareness and developing relationships with clients. At Winners Advertising, she developed her talent for branding and marketing.
Harmony Vallejo earned her bachelor’s degree in communications from Youngstown State University. There, she worked for her school’s newspaper and played varsity volleyball. Ultimately, her academic background led her into the exciting field of nonprofit administration.
