Prof. Hans Kottkamp is the medical director of the Electrophysiology department of the Hirslanden Hospital Zurich. Prior to this, Prof. Kottkamp was appointed as Adjunct Professor of Internal Medicine at the Medical Faculty of the University of Leipzig and was the Medical Director, Department of Rhythmology, Heart Centre Leipzig.
Prof. Kottkamp
is a world renowned expert in the diagnosis and treatment of Atrial Fibrillation. He focuses on catheter ablation of supraventricular and ventricular arrhythmias with special emphasis on ablation of atrial fibrillation. He has more than 150 publications in international journals and monographs. Prof. Kottkamp is on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Cardovascular Electrophysiology and Heart Rhythm. His clinical work deals with all aspects of interventional cardiac electrophysiology.
