Hannah Stombler-Levine also known as Hannah Ayla, is a multi-award winning graphic designer and photographer based in San Francisco, California.
After graduating magna cum laude from Cal Poly in 2015, Hannah went to work at Apple as a production designer. In the years that followed she worked for some of the nation’s top brands including Pottery
Barn, William Sonoma, Sociofabrica (during which she worked on accounts for Nespresso, Ross Dress for Less, and Farm from a Box), Trulia, and Zillow. During her time at Sociofabrica Hannah’s work won multiple awards, including Shorty awards for Farm from box and Nespresso Art Direction.
Hannah’s most recent role at Zillow began when she was hired as the brand designer for Trulia where she participated in a rebranding campaign prior to their merger with Zillow. Once the two companies became one organization, Hannah stayed on with Zillow as a brand designer, and eventually moved to a role as their content and email marketing designer.
During Hannah’s time at Zillow, she was on the winning team at Hackweek 2019 for their 'Housing Connector' project that helps people that are exiting homelessness find housing in King County. Hannah was the sole designer on this project, and Housing Connector is now live and has helped over 3500+ individuals and families find housing in one of the country’s toughest real estate markets. Hannah’s efforts at Zillow have also been recognized by her colleagues as she was named ‘Mind Blowing Marketer’ (employee of month) at Zillow in March, 2023.
In addition to all of her in-house work, in 2020 Hannah decided to expand her portfolio and opened Hanayla Creates, a freelance business where she provides design and content creation services. Hanayla Creates has designed content for a variety of well-known brands including but not limited to Living Proof, Facebook, Ole Henriksen, Pfizer, 1-800-Flowers, Bearaby, Ethos, HelloSunshine, and LifeMD.
