Hamid is the CEO and co-founder of delecta Technologies Inc. He has been actively engaged in entrepreneurship ecosystem of Vancouver, advised local startups and provided them with his consultations to take the best directions to address their technological needs. His leadership experiences provide him with the privilege of forming agile, effective,
and passionate teams and leading them to success. Hamid's technical expertise has provided him with valuable skills complementing his leadership background. Hamid earned his Ph.D. in theoretical physics from the University of British Columbia (UBC). He was a member of the internationally respected String Theory group of UBC. After his Ph.D., Hamid led multiple collaborative projects between the UBC, Biogen Inc., and the Harvard University machine learning and genome science research groups.
