Hal Lipman, retired NFL Films executive and Emmy Award Winner, has joined the Company’s newly formed Advisory Board. Hal Lipman has worked in the television production business for over 45 years and will help to introduce TMMI’s Fractal TRUDEF to the film market.
Mr. Lipman had a wide range of responsibilities with NFL Films. As Director of
Facility Sales, Mr. Lipman developed business with Advertising Agencies and industrial companies. As Vice President/Production Director; Mr. Lipman led the company in its retail business move from VHS Cassettes to DVD and interactive DVD’s for the retail market.
As Senior Production Supervisor, Mr. Lipman worked directly with the company’s retail market DVD distributor, Warner Bros., to expand interactive DVD production and develop new DVD programming for the marketplace. Mr. Lipman assisted with planning and coordinating the requirements necessary for the International Broadcast of the Super Bowl. He supervised the installation of the communications system for NFL Films, the NFL Network and the International Broadcasters.
In 1970, Mr. Lipman, along with two partners, founded E.J. Stewart, Inc., a television production facility with studios and editing facilities located in suburban Philadelphia. The facility became the largest in Pennsylvania, employing over 70 full time people. The company served a wide range of clients including advertising agencies, industrial clients, and television networks. It was licensed by the New Jersey Casino Commission as well as being classified by the Federal Government to produce programming for the Department of Defense. The three partners worked together for almost 20 years until the company was sold in 1988.
