Haim Barad, PhD, brings well over 30 years of industrial and academic experience. Barad was previously the Chief Technology Officer at n-Trance Global Tech Ltd., responsible for entire product line of security solutions and R&D activities. He has provided and shaped the company’s vision for the next five years.
Haim is extensively published
including many peer reviewed articles on statistical classification, feature space reduction and related subjects. Haim has a PhD from the University of Southern California and was a faculty member in the Electrical Engineering Department of Tulane University before moving to Israel to work with Intel.
While at Intel, he was part of the IA32 architecture team and responsible for application performance (at a Division Level) on Intel microprocessors for intensive gaming and multimedia applications. Later in his 13 years at Intel (and Marvell), he also was responsible for application performance on XScale processors (PDA/Cellphone platforms). Barad also has extensive management experience in Intel and Marvell, responsible for high profile application performance activities and was part of an award winning Intel Achievement Award (highest award at Intel) team that resulted in an impact of over 50 millions of dollars in the transition between Pentium II and Pentium III processor lines.
