Dr. Korbel has 10 years of experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. Prior to joining Aprea Therapeutics, he was Director of Business Development and Operations at Novira Therapeutics, which was acquired in December 2015 by Johnson & Johnson, and served as Director of Research Operations subsequent to the acquisition. In
addition to consulting for venture capital and biotechnology firms, he formerly served as Senior Scientist at Invtirogen/Life Technologies. Dr. Korbel received an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, a PhD in Chemistry from Harvard University and a BA from Vanderbilt University.
