Greg is a technology leader with over 20 years in hands-on development and R&D leadership, specializing in artificial intelligence, big data mining, and cloud computing. As the founder of the AI department in Israel’s elite Unit 8200, Greg led groundbreaking research and development of a machine translation engine and multilingual AI systems.
He also established and let the Cloud R&D department, pioneering the IDF’s first deployment of AI workloads on public cloud infrastructure – an unprecedented initiative that set a new technological benchmark for secure cloud adoption in national defense. Prior to that, he headed the Big Data R&D department, where he architected and delivered 8200’s Information Factory infrastructure – one of the unit’s most significant technological assets. Greg holds a B.Sc. in computer science from The Israeli Institute of Technology (Technion), and an MBA from Tel Aviv University.
