He has spent most of his life in Oklahoma. As a graduate from Edmond Memorial High School, Greg worked his last two years full-time at a local grocery store. He’s had numerous titles and jobs throughout his early working years, including his own landscaping company and a butcher at a local grocery store, Wynn’s IGA. He also spent time in the
restaurant business where he helped open the first Garfield‘s restaurant in Edmond. Greg’s first love and initial study in college was majoring in commercial art. Although he loved art, his real love was working with people. That’s when he decided to enter into finance.
Greg joined the life insurance business with MetLife in 1986 and thus began his career in the financial services industry. After his first two years, Greg was appointed as one of the youngest branch managers in the region. Although he loved managing and working with other advisors, his real desire was to work directly with clients in their planning. This evolved into eventually establishing his own fee-based firm, which is now Womack Investment Advisers Inc., in 2000.
Greg earned his professional certification by the College of Financial Planners, headquarters in Denver, Colorado, and is entitled to use the “CFP” professional designation. He serves as President and Principal of Womack Investment Advisers, Inc. (WIA), an independent registered investment advisory firm. WIA is an independent registered investment advisor with Oklahoma, California, Indiana, Illinois, and Texas Department of Securities.
