Greg Walters is President/CEO/Co-Founder and has 23 years of technical leadership experience within the medical device industry, the last five with Essential Medical. In his prior role as VP of Product Development at Kensey Nash Corporation, he developed embolic protection devices, thrombectomy catheters and other specialty lesion
crossing systems, and led the initial development and commercialization efforts of Angio-Seal. In addition to his responsibilities in Product Development, he was heavily involved in Business Development activities and patent analysis. Prior to Kensey Nash Mr. Walters was employed by General Electric in various engineering roles. He is a graduate of GE’s corporate engineering program, has a BS in Physics from the Millersville University of Pennsylvania, and a Masters of Management from the Pennsylvania State University. Greg is a listed inventor on 17 US and EU patents in medical devices with numerous patents pending.
