Greg Gilbert is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Agilic Capital, with several decades’ experience working with private companies on transactions involving private equity and venture capital. Greg has also been an entrepreneur and senior executive of venture-backed companies and is passionate about helping to build smaller companies in the
industrial, energy, consumer, technology and financial sectors.Greg currently serves on the Board of Managers of GF Solutions, an Agilic portfolio company.
Prior to Agilic, Greg spent 17 years with the law firm, O’Melveny & Myers and its predecessor firms. During his time as Partner of OMM, Greg served on the Policy Committee (Board), the Executive Committee, and headed the Private Equity, M&A and Venture Capital groups. He was based in both New York and London (2008-10). Earlier in his career, Greg was the co-founder of several companies, raising venture capital and building them as a senior executive prior to successful exits. Greg has also been a long-time investor in start-up companies and private equity funds.
Greg received his A.B. from Dartmouth College in 1990 and J.D. summa cum laude in 1993 from Boston University School of Law, where he served as editor of the Law Review.
